Claude Makélélé

Claude Makélélé is a former football player and also a coach. He started his professional career in Nantes and later he joined Olympique Marseille. In 1998 he went to Spain and joined Celta de Vigo, and later played for Real Madrid. In 2003 he joined Chelsea and later retired in Paris Saint-Germain in 2011.
He also played for the French national team, where he won the 1998 World Cup.
In his coach career he started in PSG as an assistant and later he became the coach of Bastia, also in Ligue 1. In 2017 he went to Swansea as an assitant and the same year he became the coach of Eupen, where he actually works.
In his career he has won several club titles, including the Uefa Champions League in 2002 with Real Madrid, the Premier League, Laliga and Ligue 1.

Ruud Gullit

Gullit was a dutsch player who was one of the best midifelders of the history. He played in several clubs; including PSV Eindhoven, Feyenoord, Chelsea and Milan. He won the Eurocope in 1988 with Netherlan, the Europe Cup in 1989 and 1990, the Europe Supercup also in 1989 and 1990, the Intercontinental Cup in 1989 and 1990, the Italian League in 1988, 1992 and 1993 and many other important titles. In 1987 he won the Ballon d'Or.

Garrincha

Manuel Francisco dos Santos, known as Garrincha, was a forward in the same age as Pelé (he's considered the second best brazilian footballer of all time, just after him). He played in Botafogo, Corinthians, Portuguesa Carioca, Atlético Junior, Flamengo and Olaria. He won the Carioca Championship three times with Botafogo, the O'Higgins Cup also three times with Botafogo, the Oswaldo Cruz Cup also threee times with Botafogo, the Roca Cup with Botafogo and the Rio-Sao Paulo Tournament also three times with Botafogo.
In the Brazilian national team he won the World Cup in 1958 and 1962 and in the 1962 World Cup he was the top-scorer and best player of the tournament. In the same year he was the best player of the year.

Carles Puyol

He's a former football player who played in Barça, the Catalan national team and the Spanish national team. He arrived at Barça at the age of 17, in one of the most complicated moments of the club, and retired in the same club having won all the different titles. He won all the titles in the 2009 season. He retired in 2014 and he's considered the most important captain in Barça's history.
In the Spanish national team he won the 2008 Eurocope and the 2010 World Cup.
He's an exemplar player and person.

Xavi Hernández

Xavi is a catalan former football player and actually a coach, who played in FCBarcelona since he was 11 years old. He played in Barça 24 years and he won all the possible titles, and in 2009 he was part of the only team in history to win the 6 titles in play in the same season. He also was one of the nominees for the Ballon d'Or in 2010. In 2015 he anunced that he will leave the club at the final of the season to join Al-Sadd SC in Qatar, where he retired this year to anounce he will be a coach. In Qatar, he contributed to make reality the celebration of the 2022 World Cup in that country. Actually, he's the coach of Al-Sadd.
In the Spanish national team he won the 2008 Eurocope, the 2010 World Cup and the 2012 Eurocope. He also formed part of the Catalan national team.
He's considered one of the bests midfielders in football history.

Diego Armando Maradona

Diego Maradona is an argentinian football player (actually he is also a coach) who was born in Villa Fiorito, Buenos Aires, in 30th October 1960. He is considered one of the bests players in history.
He made his professional debut in Argentinos Juniors in 1976, and in 1980 he was transfered to one of the bests argentinian clubs, Boca Juniors, where he won a league title. A year later, he went to Barça and had one of the most complicated moments in his career, suffering a severe ankle injury, and can't demonstrate his level in this club. After this complicated moment, he went to Napoli, where he demonstrate he was the best footballer in that moment. In Napoli Diego won 2 league titles and a UEFA Cup. In 1991, at the end of his career, he went to Sevilla, and in 1993 he returned to Argentina to Newell's Old Boys and Boca Juniors in 1995, where he retired in 1997 the day of his 37th birthday.
In the Argentinian international team, he played four World Cups and won 1 in 1986. He is the second most scorer in the Argentine selection. Actually he is the coach of Gimnasia de la Plata.

Ronaldo Nazário

Ronaldo was a brazilian player and one of the bests centre forwards in football history. He started his career in Brazil, in Cruzeiro. In 1994, he came to Europe to join PSV Eindhoven, where he drew the attention of the great european clubs. Two years later, he signed up for Barça in a millionaire signing, about 15 million euros. In Barcelona he became the topscorer of the league with 34 goals in 37 matches, and at the following year he joined Inter Milán, where he became the FIFA World Player in 1996 and 1997 and won the Ballon d'Or in 1997. In 1998, before the World Cup in France, he had many serious knees injuries, but in 2001 he came back to the elite football to prepare himself for the 2002 World Cup in Korea-Japan. He won the World Cup with Brazil and became the Fifa World Player and won the Ballon d'Or again. That year, he joined Real Madrid where he was not up to the expectactions. In 2006, he scored 3 goals in Germany for the World Cup and became the top scorer in its tournament history with 15 goals (now the top scorer is Miroslak Klose with 16). In 2007, he joined Milán, but he broke his tendon knee the next year and the club didn't renew the contrat. In 2009, he returned to Brazil to join Corinthians, where he retired on 14th february 2011. His average scorer was 0,68 goals per match.

Actually, he's the president of Real Valladolid, a newly promoted first spanish division team.

Johan Cruyff

Johan Cruyff was a player and later he also was a coach, considerated one of the bests 4 players of the 20th Century and the best european player in history. As a player, he won the Ballon d'Or three times (1971, 1973, 1974) and he introduced what we actually know as "total football", a style of football which means the involvement of all the players in all of the tactical aspects. 

Johan started his career as a player in Ajax, where he won eight league titles and 3 European Cups. In  1973, he signed up with Barça and became the most expensive player in history. In Barcelona he won a league title and was named the best european player of the year. He retired in 1984 as one of the bests players in history.

Cruyff became the Ajax's coach and later the Barça's also, where he won the first Champions League in the club's history. Between november 2009 and january 2013, he also was the Catalunya's coach.

Johan died on March 24, 2016, but his legacy will be forever present in football.
