Ronaldo Nazário



Ronaldo was a brazilian player and one of the bests centre forwards in football history. He started his career in Brazil, in Cruzeiro. In 1994, he came to Europe to join PSV Eindhoven, where he drew the attention of the great european clubs. Two years later, he signed up for Barça in a millionaire signing, about 15 million euros. In Barcelona he became the topscorer of the league with 34 goals in 37 matches, and at the following year he joined Inter Milán, where he became the FIFA World Player in 1996 and 1997 and won the Ballon d'Or in 1997. In 1998, before the World Cup in France, he had many serious knees injuries, but in 2001 he came back to the elite football to prepare himself for the 2002 World Cup in Korea-Japan. He won the World Cup with Brazil and became the Fifa World Player and won the Ballon d'Or again. That year, he joined Real Madrid where he was not up to the expectactions. In 2006, he scored 3 goals in Germany for the World Cup and became the top scorer in its tournament history with 15 goals (now the top scorer is Miroslak Klose with 16). In 2007, he joined Milán, but he broke his tendon knee the next year and the club didn't renew the contrat. In 2009, he returned to Brazil to join Corinthians, where he retired on 14th february 2011. His average scorer was 0,68 goals per match.

Actually, he's the president of Real Valladolid, a newly promoted first spanish division team.
