He started his career in 2001 at Bahia FC, and later he moved to Europe to play for Sevilla FC. In 2008 he joined FCBarcelona, where he won all the titles. In 2016 he joined Juventus and later, in next season, he joined Paris Saint-Germain. Actually he has returned to Brazil to play for Sao Paulo.
He also played for the Brazilian national team.
He is the player with more titles winned in history, with 39 in clubs and 5 with his national team.
