Thierry Daniel Henry is a french former football player who was born in August 17th 1977. He played as a striker and actually he's a coach.
Henry started his career in 1994 playing for Monaco, and later joined Juventus. In Italy he played few minutes and joined Arsenal in 1999, where he won two leagues (one of it unbeaten), 2 FA Cups, 4 Premier League Golden Boots and became the club's all-time leading scorer with 228 goals. In 2007 he joined FCBarcelona and the next season he was part of the only team in football's history to win all the competitions in one natural year. In 2010 he joined New York Red Bulls and later returned to Arsenal, where he retired in 2014.
He also played for the French national team, where he won the 1998 World Cup, the Euro 2000 and the 2003 Confederations Cup. He became the French national team record-scorer goalscorer wioth 51 goals in 123 appearances.
He became a coach in 2016, becoming the assistant coach of Belgium national team, being part of the team in the 2018 World Cup, where they were eliminated by his homecountry in semi-finals. That year he became the coach of Monaco, but he was destituted and joined Montreal Impact the next year.
