José Antonio Reyes

José Antonio Reyes Calderón is a former football player who was born in September 1st 1983 in Utrera, Sevilla and died in June 1st 2019 in Sevilla due to a car accident. He played as a right winger and was popularly called "La perla".

Reyes started his career in Sevilla FC aged 16, becoming the youngest ever player to make hios debut in spanish first division. 2 years later he also becomed the youngest player ever to score a goal in spanish first division. In 2003 he joined Arsenla, and in the same year they won the league title without losing any games, becoming the first ever spanish player to win the Premier League. In the 2005/06 season they reached the UEFA Champions League final, but they lost against Barça. That year he won the Community Shield and the FA Cup. In 2006 he joined Real Madrid, where he won the league title. The next year he joined Atlético de Madrid and in 2008 he was relented to Benfica, where he won the league cup title. He returned to Atlético and in 2010 he won the Europa League and the European Supercup. In 2012 he returned to Sevilla and in the 2013/14 season he won the Europa League. The next season he won another Europa League, becoming the only player to win 5 Europa League's titles. Later he joined Espanyol, where he played one season until he joined Córdoba CF, where he contributed to keep the club to second division. later he joined Xinjiang Tianshan Leopard FC and Extremadura UD.
He also played for the spanish national team, where he disputed the 2006 World Cup in Germany.

He died in a car accident in 2019, but he wasn't driving too fast or drunk according to the reports. The causes of the accident remain unknown.
